CONCLUSION
After trying out the headset for more than a month and tinkering its settings, I can confidently say that it is the best alternative to the popular HyperX Cloud Core which is already phased out. The software of the Tecware Q5 is one of the best software for an entry-level/budget gaming headset. In addition, the build quality looks sturdy enough to withstand everyday use and on-the-go music listening via OTG. For a retail price of 1600 pesos, this is currently the gaming headset that won’t hurt your wallet but will give you a good sound experience for both gaming and music. We tuned our custom sound EQ setting to be more of a balanced sound signature rather than a warm sound signature.

SUMMARY
I didn’t encounter any issues with the Tecware Q5 7.1 gaming headset, but I think some parts like the cushion and earpads could’ve been better.
