DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY
As you can see, the design of the TUF H3 is pretty standard and common for a gaming headset. It somewhat resembles the Redragon Zeus at some angles. In addition, the ASUS TUF H3 Gaming headset has 2 metal yokes on each end of the headset and it is mounted into a plastic hinge that might break in time so you should be really careful with it. At the top of the headset, there is the TUF Gaming logo embossed on the rubber headband.
The pads on the headband are comfortable and you won’t feel any discomfort when using this for a long period of time. The clamping force on this headset is quite good, good enough for it not to drop from your head when moving sideways. At the back of the left earcups, you can see the mute button for the microphone and the volume wheel for the headset itself.
Upon looking at the ASUS TUF H3 microphone you might think it is detachable by the looks but it isn’t so don’t try to pull it off. It is also has a non-detachable cable so please make sure you don’t accidentally pull your headset while it is still plugged into your PC.
The ASUS TUF H3 earcup has an oval shape and it is slightly angled forward. As for the pads, it is a little bit thin for me but we should remember that this is an entry-level headset of the TUF lineup but heck, honestly this is way better than the H7 model of the TUF series and it is almost just half its price.
The TUF H3 has a non-detachable single-line audio cable but do not worry since there is an included audio cable splitter so you can use this on your PC aside from mobile.
